5 Thought Friday

Here are my 5 (or more) thoughts for the final week of the year! When you go hour by hour or day to day, you may not see your overall progress. However, when you look back at a full year, it’s amazing what you can accomplish. I wanted to give myself a pat on the back for 2022, so I summarized a few accomplishments:

  • Read 16 books

  • Meditated every single day of the year

  • Listened to over 30 hours of informative podcasts

  • Trained for and ran a half marathon

  • Became a certified life coach, and certified Level 1 nutritionist and logged 58 hours of study towards my CPA license renewal

  • Fasted 4x for 15 days in total

  • Did my annual physical, bone density scan, and DEXA scan and lost 3% body fat from last year

  • Spent 7 days in quarantine

  • Drank ~30 bottles of spectacular wine

  • Started to learn how to cook and speak Italian

  • Logged numerous pages in my gratitude journal

  • Traveled to see my daughters for the first time in 3 years and celebrated the life of my mother who passed away in 2021

  • Coached more than 10 executives

  • …..and wrote a weekly blog all while working a full-time job!

It’s amazing what one can accomplish each year by taking a few steps each day toward your self-improvement goals. How was your 2022? I would love to hear about it, so send me a 1 on 1 email to mike@mikescoaching.com.

Happy Friday!

Mike
