Friday’s come so fast, so here are a few thoughts:

1.       What I am currently reading, viewing or listening to:

  • “The Pale Faced Lie” David Crow

  • Similar to “Educated” by Tara Westover, David Crow recounts his early years growing up with “crazy” parents…and how he overcame it.

2.       What is Trending in Technology, Science or Similar:

  • Longevity research science is coming more and more into focus as the world population ages.

  • Research on Vitamin D deficiencies continues to prove how taking 5,000 IU daily is important to improving our overall healthspan. So get out in the sun in the morning for ~10 minutes or find yourself a good supplement.

3.       Wellness ideas to Consider:

  • I first discovered the Pomodoro Technique when I took a free online course called “Learning How To Learn”. It is all about taking short, focused burst to complete tasks.

4. What I’m eating, drinking, buying or whatever else is on my mind:

  • Airpod Pros from Apple: Totally improved my gym experience and had an added benefit of being excellent for conference calls from home.

  • Sound quality is wonderful and when paired with Siri, I can change the music volume, turn on/off noise cancelling, and best of all…set timers during HIIT workouts via simple voice commands.

  • SleepMindHeart’s model is about focusing on ourselves and what we can control. As Tara Westover quotes, positive liberty is “to be liberated from our irrational fears and beliefs”, which to me is life changing.
