Fasted two days this week, but conversely had some new healthy foods (see #3 and #4 below).

1.       What I am currently reading, viewing, or listening to:

  • George Mumford, Mindfulness coach to Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. Podcast with Tim Ferriss (listened at 1.75x).

  • Short on time, check minutes 36:00 to 42:00 on how George worked with the Chicago Bulls to manage their mental wellness or min 58:00 to 1:05:00. Rituals, focus on being in the moment and realizing that there is no such thing as multitasking.

2.       Gratitude Practice (for improved happiness):

  • Making great progress with my life coaching class, with 4 clients and over 10 hours of practice….simply grateful for all the new learnings!

3.       Wellness ideas to consider:

  • Hearty Vegan Lentil Soup; the Mediterranean diet continues to flourish.

4. What I’m eating, drinking, buying, or whatever else is on my mind:

  • Japanese Sekai Ichi apple - First time I tried this type! A few interesting things about this apple:

    • I ate it over 4 nights due to the large size

    • It cost US$7, which made it difficult for me to purchase since its outside the normal “apple” pricing range

    • It was light, crispy and tasty…but cannot say it was worth the $7
