5 Thought Friday
Two full days of fasting this week and no food after 9 pm-ish, which has been phenomenal for my sleep. With that said, here are 5 Thoughts for the week:
1. What I am currently reading, viewing, or listening to:
The Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron
This is more of a workbook vs. a book to improve one’s writing and artistic, creative ability. It is a 12-week program to develop your artistic skills.
2. Gratitude Practice (for improved happiness):
Grateful to find resources such as James Clear, author of Atomic Habits, that help an individual find their inner creativity and growth mindset.
“In order to fully embrace the growth mindset and enhance your creativity, you need to be willing to take action in the face of these feelings (i.e. possibility of looking stupid, feeling humiliated, or dealing with embarrassment), which so often deter us.” James Clear
3. Wellness ideas to consider:
Set your LIFE VISION in motion. It only takes 15 minutes to ask yourself these 3 most important questions with Vishen Lakhiani HERE!
I did this over 5 years ago as part of a Mindvalley Masterclass and it started a major transformation in my life. Give it a try!
4. What I’m eating, drinking, buying, or whatever else is on my mind:
Experimenting with retinoids to help keep skin healthier, longer. If you are planning to live to be 110+, you need to ensure your skin holds up!
5. Quote(s) I am Pondering:
“…the single, simple truth I desperately needed to know. You need to know it, too—we all do. Here it is: You are infinitely worthy. You are infinitely precious. You have always been enough. You will always be enough. There is no place you don’t belong. You are lovable. You are loved. You are love.”
Martha Beck; The Way of Integrity
I sent this to one of my daughters, and we both sobbed with happy tears!
Happy Friday!
